ICorr Level 3 Recertification for CPCL Senior Engineer
CPCL prides itself in having some of the most highly qualified engineers and technicians in the business. With three PhDs and countless ICorr and NACE certifications amongst the technical staff, the company understands just how important knowledge is to stay ahead of the competition.
The company is therefore delighted to confirm that our Cathodic Protection Engineering Manager, Dr Dan Marshall, has been recertified at ICorr Level 3 in Underground and Immersed Structures, Marine Metallic Structures and Inner Surfaces of Metallic Container Structures. This ensures that Dan is fully up to date with the latest CP techniques and principles, as well as adhering to the requirements within the BS EN 15257 : 2006 standard.
Certification of cathodic protection personnel is a requirement for the CP industry throughout Europe, and the ICorr Certification Scheme was set up to evaluate the competence levels of staff through examinations and assessments. Level 3 is the highest level achievable, and recertification takes place every 5 years to ensure that knowledge and experience is fully current.
