Cuprion Makes it to Australia!
With a 50-year history of aiding industry with a variety of marine fouling problems Cathodic Protection Co Ltd have been to most continents but Australia has escaped us, well we've now got a 'tick in the box' which means we have installations on every continent on the planet.
CPCL have recently completed the commissioning of its latest Cuprion® CAnDU anti-fouling system for Woodside in Australia at the Karratha Gas Plant as part of their seawater firewater pump station refurbishment project.
The system is designed to protect the fire water pump caissons at the Woodside KGP facility in Western Australia.
CPCL supplied a skid mounted reaction vessel and control panel along with a submersible bore hole pump to continuously feed water into the system.
CPCL engineer Motaz Abbas attended the site to commission the system and ensure it system operates within Woodside specifications, Whilst Product Manager Matthew Lamb provided a detailed training course.
