Sam raises money for a cause close to his heart
As always, we are thrilled to spotlight a tremendous personal accomplishment within the CPCL team. Our Stores Supervisor, Sam Dodwell, has successfully completed the Manchester Marathon. Despite dealing with a leg injury, Sam powered through the 26.2-mile course, finishing with an impressive time of 3 hours and 38 minutes. His remarkable performance placed him 5483rd out of a record-breaking 32,000 participants—a testament to his resilience
Sam's journey into running began in 2018 with the Grantham running club, and his passion for the sport has only grown stronger since then. His commitment to running is truly inspiring, but what makes his achievement even more special is his dedication to a cause close to his heart. By participating in the marathon, Sam raised just over £800 for the United Lincolnshire Hospitals charity. This charity provided crucial support to his mother during her breast cancer treatment, ultimately making her cancer free.
We are incredibly proud of Sam for his outstanding achievement and his efforts to support a worthy cause.
