Apache Oil – Forties Field, UKCS
Back in the early 1970s CPCL developed it’s Cuprion® marine anti-fouling system for the emerging North Sea offshore oil & gas industry.
The first installation was for Forties Field, then owned by BP and now under the ownership of Apache Oil. Today, this field is still operational and CPCL continues to supply replacement Cuprion® electrode units for the firewater, seawater lift and cooling water pumps on the Alpha, Bravo, Charlie, Delta and more recent Forties Alpha Satellite platforms.
Since this first installation CPCL have now supplied systems into other major oil producing regions including Norway, the Arabian Gulf, West Africa, the Indian Ocean, and South East Asia.
