Çanakkale 1915 Bridge
In 2019, CPCL supplied a CP system to the Çanakkale 1915 Bridge in Turkey, consisting of two TRUs, one for each tower, and submerged MMO anodes to protect the steel tower supports.
Situated just south of the towns of Lapseki and Gelibolu, the bridge will span the Dardanelles strait, about 10 km (6.2 mi) south of the Sea of Marmara. With a main span of 2,023 m (6,637 ft), the bridge will surpass the Akashi Kaikyō Bridge in Japan by 32 m (105 ft) to become the longest suspension bridge in the world.
